Bookkeeper
Location: West Kelowna, BC

Our West Kelowna client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall accounting operations. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. 
- Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner. 
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting. 
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. 
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations. 
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements. 
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making. 
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field. 
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite. 
- Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and general accounting principles. 
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. 
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. 
- Diploma or certification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (preferred).
