Branch Manager
Location: Kelowna, BC
Position Status: OPEN
Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 per year
KAN Recruitment is currently hiring a Branch Manager for a well-established construction industry client located in Kelowna, BC. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing branch operations across the BC Interior market while driving growth, profitability, safety, and team performance.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong operational and business development experience within the construction industry. Candidates with roofing or building envelope experience are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily branch operations including staffing, performance management, goal setting, and employee development
Drive branch sales growth through business development, client retention, and relationship management
Develop and execute operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability
Prepare and manage branch budgets while monitoring overall financial performance
Identify market trends, opportunities, and operational improvements within the BC Interior region
Ensure exceptional customer service and overall client satisfaction
Maintain strong communication and collaboration with leadership and other branch locations
Review production costs, workflows, and inventory controls to maximize operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
Promote and maintain a strong safety-focused workplace culture
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of construction industry and leadership experience
Roofing or building envelope industry experience is considered a major asset and ideal for this role
Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth
Strong financial, operational, and organizational management skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and profitability
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Bachelor’s Degree considered an asset
