Field Service Technician


Location: Prince George, BC

Position Status: OPEN

Salary: $60,000 - $64,000 per year

KAN Recruitment is currently hiring a Field Service Technician for a growing organization in Prince George, BC. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and customer-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining office equipment in a fast-paced field environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, maintain, and repair printers, multifunction devices, scanners, and related office equipment

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues

  • Perform equipment setup, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and repairs

  • Manage assigned service calls efficiently while delivering excellent customer service

  • Maintain accurate service documentation, inventory, and parts records

  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding service updates and equipment issues

  • Collaborate with internal teams including dispatch, customer support, and management

  • Stay current with evolving technologies and participate in ongoing technical training

Requirements

  • Previous experience servicing office equipment, printers, copiers, or multifunction devices preferred

  • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Working knowledge of networking, print drivers, software installation, and scanning solutions

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

Working Conditions
