Sales Assistant

KAN Recruitment is currently hiring a Sales Assistant for a growing and dynamic client. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting a busy sales team and ensuring sales processes run smoothly from start to finish.
Reporting to the Sales leadership team, the Sales Assistant will provide administrative, systems, and coordination support to Sales Account Managers, helping to keep opportunities moving efficiently through the sales cycle. This role is perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys problem-solving, has strong CRM experience, and takes pride in delivering exceptional internal customer service.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned Sales Account Managers.
Assist with order processing, sales documentation, quotes, and deal coordination.
Monitor sales opportunities to ensure they progress efficiently through each stage of the sales process.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales information within Salesforce and other internal systems.
Support Account Managers with CRM navigation, system updates, and troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve administrative issues or process delays before they impact customers or sales timelines.
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Service, and other internal departments to obtain required information and ensure seamless communication.
Prepare sales documentation and ensure Account Managers have accurate information for customer meetings and proposals.
Maintain high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and CRM integrity.
Monitor workflows and follow up on outstanding items to keep deals moving forward.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and overall sales efficiency.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams while providing responsive and professional support.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Sales Assistant, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support, or similar administrative role.
Experience supporting multiple sales representatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
Experience working with sales order processing and coordinating cross-functional teams is considered an asset.
